Dates announced for the professional padel circuit 2024

2024 arrives with great expectations in the world of padel as we continue to watch our sport grow. The best players in the world such as Ale Galán, Álex Ruiz, Pablo Cardona, Marta Ortega and Lorena Rufo face a new season with many changes, and with great hopes of success.

After two years of coexistence of two circuits, the World Padel Tour and Premier Padel, this coming season all the professional padel will come under the same organisation - Premier Padel. Under the management of the International Padel Federation (FIP) this will bring together all the tournaments and, therefore, the ranking of the best players in our sport.

The new season will start on 26th February and end on 22nd December - a gruelling schedule lasting almost ten months. There will be a break of one month in August. A total of 25 tournaments will be played in 18 countries and on four different continents.

Premier Padel ranking points

And how will the ranking of the new Premier Padel work? The circuit will have four types of tournaments. From the most important to the least important are the Majors, followed by the P1s and finally the P2s. The fourth format will be the Tour Finals, the last tournament of the year in which the eight best male and female couples of the season will meet.

The Majors will award 2,000 points to the champions, the P1s, 1,000, and the P2s, 500. In addition, points will also be distributed among the other participants depending on the round they reach. The winners of the Tour Finals will earn an extra 1,500 ranking points.

Padel Tournaments 2024

The season will start with two tournaments in the Middle East, one in Saudi Arabia and one in Qatar. It will continue in the Americas with tournaments in Mexico and Venezuela. The first visit to Europe will follow with tournaments in Belgium and Spain. The players will return to the Americas to play three tournaments, one in Paraguay, one in Argentina and one in Chile.

Europe will host the key tournaments between June and the end of October. Spain, France, Italy, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden will host tournaments in the summer and autumn. The end of the year will be in Egypt before returning to the Middle East with two tournaments: one in the United Arab Emirates and one in Kuwait. The last Major will be played in Mexico and the year will end with the Tour Finals in Barcelona.
