Alex Ruiz is also a reference off the court. Diagnosed with diabetes as a child, he has always been an example of the fight against this disease at a social level and, more specifically, in the world of sport. He has always taken advantage of his situation to raise awareness of the high capacities of diabetic people and to transmit in a natural way how to live with this pathology.
