Alejandro Galán (Madrid, May 15, 1996) is currently number one in both the World Padel Tour and Premier Padel world rankings. The Madrid-born player has earned recognition as one of the best of all time after having finished three years (2020, 2021 and 2022) at the top of the overall ranking. His career started in 2016 alongside partner Juan Cruz Belluati. In 2017 they established themselves as one of the great pairs on the circuit. A year later, after teaming up with Matías Díaz, he won his first title on the World Padel Tour, the Valladolid Open 2018. In 2019, Ale continued to demonstrate his winning ability, first with Juani Mieres and later with Pablo Lima. He ended the season with 5 titles before forming a formidable partnership with Juan Lebron. Together, they have become one of the most successful partnerships in the history of this sport. Galán reached 30 WPT titles in 2022 and is currently the president of the Professional Padel Association, the international association of padel players.
