Seba Nerone's Reviews: Adipower's Multiweight

Seba Nerone is one of the great legends of padel and a key figure for adidas Padel. That is why we wanted to hear from him and get his opinion about our new 2024 racket collection. In various posts on this All for Padel blog, he will review and evaluate all the models for this year. This time, Nerone analyses two of the most important rackets in the Adipower range, the two Adipower Multiweight.

These are the Adipower Multiweight 3.3 and the Adipower Multiweight CTRL 3.3, the racket of professional player Álex Ruiz. "They are rackets aimed at players with a high technical level, who play daily and seek to customise their racket to enhance their game," Nerone points out. In other words, they are aimed at a professional level of play.

Both models share many of the same technologies. The former player and Argentine coach explains, "They feature the Weight & Balance System, which allows you to modify the weight or balance by removing or adding up to 9 grams." Nerone mentions one of adidas's most distinctive technologies, which allows for having many different rackets in the same grip.

Regarding the rest of the technologies, Seba also highlights "the 18k carbon fibre along with the high-density Eva High Memory foam," which, he adds, "provide exceptional power in each of their shots." He also explains that "durability, rigidity, and resistance are guaranteed thanks to the carbon reinforcements located in the heart and frame of the racket."

Differences between the Adipower Multiweight and the Adipower Multiweight CTRL

The big question that many will ask is how the Adipower Multiweight 3.3 differs from the Adipower Multiweight CTRL 3.3. Seba Nerone responds that the main difference lies in "their format." The Adipower Multiweight, "with a diamond format and a high sweet spot, is aimed at the most aggressive players," Nerone emphasises. Meanwhile, the Multiweight CTRL, "with a round format and a centred sweet spot, is the ideal companion for those players who seek a greater level of control."

To sum up, Seba Nerone talks about three main characteristics that define these two high-level rackets: "customization, power, and durability." Considering all this, the padel legend makes it clear that here we encounter two models that behave differently on the court. So if you want to make a difference, don't hesitate and choose the Multiweight racket that best suits your style.
