Marta Ortega (Madrid, February 14, 1997). Is one of the best padel players in the world. Martita, as we all know her, holds the record of being the youngest player to finish a year as number 1 in the World Padel Tour rankings. In 2019, at just 22 years old and paired up with legend Marta Marrero, she finished the year in the top spot. The player from Madrid won the Padel Award for the best player in the world in 2019 and more than ten professional titles to her name. She currently forms one of the best pairs in world padel with the Menorcan player Gemma Triay. Away from the court, her career is also brilliant. She graduated in Medicine in 2021, a profession she focuses on when she doesn’t have her padel racket in her hand.
