Galán wins in Milan as the adidas 2024 rackets are used for first time

The end of Ale Galan's season is out of this world as the adidas player continued his fine form by winning the last Premier Padel tournament of the season, the P1 in Milan. In doing so, he won his fifth title of the season and his first in the FIP circuit. He has won all of them after the summer break.

The victory is special for Galán, not only for the success itself, but for having achieved it with his new playing tool, the Metalbone HRD+, the racket he will use throughout 2024. Alex Ruiz, with his new Adipower Multiweight CTRL 3.3, with which he reached the quarter finals, and Lorena Rufo, who played her first match with the Metalbone CTRL 3.3, also played in the Italian city.

Premier Padel closes in style

2023 is coming to an unbeatable end for Ale Galan. On the World Padel Tour, the player from Madrid is exerting absolute dominance alongside his partner, Juan Lebron, in this decisive stretch of the season. On the Premier Padel circuit, the triumph had been elusive all year. Finally, the first victory for the number 1's of 2022 came in the last tournament.

The level of padel on display in Milan was breathtaking. Proof of this is the result of the final of the tournament. Ale and Lebron's victory came in a match with three tie-breaks, a sign of the equality of the match with Franco Stupaczuk and Martin di Nenno.

Three hours of battle ended up deciding the title for Galan and his partner. But they had dig deep for the victory. Having won the first set, everything seemed to be wrapped up at the end of the second set for Galan and Lebron, as they led 5-4 and had three match points. But somehow the Superpibes survived. The Argentinian pair raised their game at the crucial stage, thus forcing the third and final set, in which the Spaniards were able to conquer.

The semi finals were also extremely demanding for Galan. The rivals were Fede Chingotto and Paquito Navarro, a very tricky opponent. The match also had to be decided in the third set with the final result of 6-3, 5-7 and 6-2.

The debut of Ale Galan's new racket has come with a victory. The start of the Madrid native's journey with the Metalbone HRD+ will look to bring more success for the last tournament of the season, the Barcelona Master Final of the World Padel Tour, and, above all, for 2024. We are sure that Ale and the rest of the adidas players will make the most of the new collection of adidas rackets.
