Ale Galán claims the title in Seville, the first tournament in Spain of the year

Ale Galán has claimed the winner's trophy at the Premier Padel P2 in Seville, the first tournament of the year in Spain, and has secured two consecutive titles. The adidas player, alongside his partner Fede Chingotto, emerged victorious in an event held in the Andalusian capital, where our brand had the honour of being the official racket sponsor of the event.

Galán and his partner triumphed in the final against Franco Stupaczuk and Martín Di Nenno with a score of 7-6 and 6-4 in a highly competitive final. However, in the title match, the adidas player was always a step ahead of his opponents. The exhibition in Seville was outstanding, as Ale didn't drop a single set throughout the week. All of this earned him the MVP award for the tournament's best player.

With an iron fist

Ale and his partner, the Argentine Fede Chingotto, have been a powerhouse from Wednesday to Sunday at the Estadio de la Cartuja, the venue for this Premier Padel P2 event in Seville. They didn't drop a single set in any of their five matches, and what's more, they didn't even have to go through the always dangerous tie-break until the title match.

Along the way, Galán took down none other than the number one pair, formed by Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia. In just two sets (6-3 and 7-5), the duo occupying the top spot as the number one seed succumbed to the Madrid native and his partner.

In the final, the Superpibes put up a strong fight. Always resilient and boasting one of the best defences in the world, the team formed by the two Argentine players Franco Stupaczuk and Martín Di Nenno required Galán's best version. In the first set, the opponents managed to break in their favour in the fifth game. When they served to take the set, our adidas player and his partner managed to break back.

With a 6-5 lead, Galán and Chingotto had a set point on the opponent's serve to close out the first set, but it all ended up being decided in the tie-break. In the second set, the break in favour of Ale and his partner came early, in the third game. The break ultimately proved decisive in deciding both the set and the final.

The partnership between Ale and Fede Chingotto is beginning to bear fruit, as this victory marks their second consecutive win, just one week apart. It's the third champion's trophy Galán has lifted this year, and the feeling right now is that alongside his partner, they form the pair to beat on the top circuit of the global padel scene. Keep it up, Ale!
