Adipower Multiweight CTR: Best hybrid racket at the Best Padel Racket Awards

Adipower Multiweight CTR: Best hybrid racket at the Best Padel Racket Awards

The Adipower Multiweight CTRL, Álex Ruiz's adidas racket, has been awarded as the best padel racket 2023 in the hybrid racket category at the Best Padel Racket Awards. This is the first edition of these awards organised by the Spanish laboratory Testea Padel, one of the most renowned in the world in the study of padel rackets.

The awards, which are presented during the Valencia Open of the World Padel Tour, aim to recognise the best padel rackets in different categories. The category in which the Adipower Multiweight CTRL has won is the best hybrid racket. The racket was recognised as having the best "balance between defensive and offensive play, which does not detract from precision and helps in definition".

Top prize for a unique racket

Álex Ruiz’s racket has been one of the great additions to our 2023 collection. It combines innovation with guarantees on the court. Its versatility has made it the winner in a category that rewards the ability to shine in different game situations and for differing styles.

The Adipower Multiweight CTRL is made to achieve the highest level of control and also has the best characteristics for attacking play. In addition to these features, there is also revolutionary technology - the Weight & Balance System. Players using this racket have the possibility to adjust the weights and balance of the racket to improve its capacity for control or to get an even more powerful version.

The possibility of modifying and adapting the racket to the player's needs at all times is a differential factor. It allows you to have the most offensive and the most dominating racket to have the most control in your rally, all in the same grip.

The Best Padel Racket Awards

As we have already mentioned, this is the first edition of the Best Padel Racket Awards. These awards are promoted and organised by the Testea Padel laboratory, part of the Instituto Universitario de Automática e Informática Industrial (ai2) of Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.

More than twenty models from different brands in the sector were presented in the four categories that made up the awards: best hybrid racket, best powerful racket, best control racket and best beginner racket.

The evaluation of the different rackets was based on various tests. Through them, they have been able to record the weight, balance, stiffness, inertia in different directions, ball output, power and sweet spot of each one of them. The tests were able to confirm the best rackets in each of the categories. The awards are governed by the most rigorous parameters of study in our sport.

The Metalbone HRD 3.2 is also recognised

The first edition of the Best Padel Racket Awards also recognised the quality of another of our rackets. The Metalbone HRD 3.2, Ale Galán's racket, was also a finalist in the category of best hybrid racket. This is yet more evidence of the high level in the manufacture of adidas rackets capable of reaching the very top of our sport.

At adidas, we are very proud to receive this recognition. It reinforces the work we have been doing for more than ten years and encourages us to continue in the same line to stay in the elite of world padel.
