adidas 2023 updates, presented to the coaches at Trainers Day
During the month of March, our annual Trainers Day was held, the adidas conferences aimed at coaches and trainers. Four Spanish towns and cities hosted these events in which the latest news from both the world of padel in general and adidas itself were presented. Some 200 coaches and trainers attended the different sessions and were updated with the latest in our sport.
The Trainer Days were distributed geographically to try to reach the different areas of Spain. The selected cities were Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella and Alicante. The sessions were distributed as follows:
- 14 March: Trainers Day Catalonia at Nick Padel Club, Barcelona.
- 16 March: Trainers Day Andalucía at Nueva Alcántara Club, Marbella.
- 22 March: Trainers Day Centro at Euroindoor, Madrid.
- 28 March: Trainers Day Levante at Padel Point La Nucia, Alicante.
What did Trainers Day involve?
And what did these Trainers Day consist of? These conferences served to bring the professionals of our sport up to speed with the latest developments and the state of the padel industry, our brand, and the products that we have released for 2023. In this last part, attendees were presented with the new collection of rackets for this year. In this way, 200 trainers have learned first-hand about our new line of products.
Attendees were able to discover the revolution that the new Adipower Multiweight and Adipower Multiweight CTRL rackets represent. The Weight & Balance System technology was one of the elements that has stood out most for its innovation and the range of possibilities it offers on court. For that same reason, the Metalbone HRD 3.2, Metalbone CTRL 3.2 and Metalbone 3.2 were also well received by the coaches. Their high performance and its exceptional behaviour on the court caught everybody's attention.
Padel professionals discovered the beautiful designs of all the rackets in the new collection. The spectacular options within the Metalbone range continue to be hugely popular. In this 2023 collection, one of the most striking updates is the Metalbone Carbon, a very complete racket that debuts within a top-level range.
The colourful design of the Adipower Light 3.2, Martita Ortega's racket, was a big hit among attendees and responds great to the expectations within the four walls - as confirmed by those who tried it out at the Trainers Day. The coaches also saw first hand the wide variety of options offered by the Team models in both the Adipower and Metalbone ranges.
Trainers also discovered two rackets that are the best possible companions for their youngest players. We are talking about the Metalbone Youth 3.2 and the Adipower Junior 3.2, two game tools designed for the hands of boys and girls hungry to take their first footsteps in our wonderful sport.
The Trainers Day also served to show the new adidas intermediate and discovery level rackets, all of them very interesting for players who have some experience of padel and are looking to take their game to the next level. The RX, Drive and Match ranges offer a wide variety of products with different characteristics. That said, all the rackets guarantee comfort and easy handling, essential as you set out on your padel journey.
In fact, all those attending these four Trainers Day days were also able to try all the rackets. Therefore, they have been able to test everything we’ve developed and reported on and verify the high level of the different adidas 2023 products.
