adidas becomes sponsor of the Professional Pickleball Association
adidas is the new Gold Paddle Sponsor of the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA Tour), the organiser of the premier pickleball circuit in the United States. The agreement has been reached by PPA and All Racquet Sports, the US subsidiary of All For Padel. The partnership marks the first major official sponsorship for adidas in the world of pickleball, the fastest growing racket sport in the US.
In 2022, adidas launched our first pickleball paddle collection and two years later we have reached this turning point in our journey to become a leader in the sport. As such, 2024 will not only be the third year of the adidas Pickleball paddle collection, but also the first year with a major sponsorship deal.
What does it mean to be a Gold Paddle Sponsor of the PPA?
The sponsorship agreement reached by adidas with the PPA comes with a number of exciting benefits. Becoming a new Gold Paddle Sponsor means that adidas' newest and most advanced pickleball paddles - and other products - will be available for sale in the PPA's official shop. This means that consumers will be able to see, try and purchase them at more than 25 PPA Tour venues in 2024.
In addition, adidas will be the official racket of two tournaments: the PPA North Carolina Cup, April 2-7, and the Orange County Cup, June 25-30. At both events, adidas Pickleball will offer multiple activities designed to give fans the opportunity to experience adidas pickleball paddles first-hand.
