Ale Galan picks up second title of season in Germany
Ale Galán won his second title of the season in Germany, the first time a professional padel tournament has been held there, after an impeccable performance. After a difficult start to the season, adidas player, Galan, along with his partner Juan Lebron, have turned things around with two victories in the last three World Padel Tour tournaments.

An unbeatable performance in the final
Ale Galan won the title at the first ever Germany Open after a brilliant performance in the final. Together with his partner, Juan Lebron, they dominated in a final that only had one outcome. Their rivals, the Superpibes, Martin di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk, couldn't respond to the relentless rhythm they imposed from the start of the match.
Galan and Lebron's hunger was demonstrated in the first game of the match, in which they broke the number two pairing's serve. They kept their foot on the accelerator to take the score to a resounding 5-0 in that first set. Di Nenno and 'Stupa' broke serve to avoid a blank set, but they couldn't get any further on their next serve. The 6-2 scoreline was a tough first blow in the final.
Would there be a dip in the rhythm? Not at all. The second set started again with a break from Galán and Lebrón. This time the Superpibes managed to keep a break away until, with the set already in the decisive stretch, the former number ones imposed their strength again. Three games in a row in their favour after the 3-2 break sealed a final that returns one of the best pairings of all time to the top.

A tough ride to the title
The final that Lebron and Galan played closes a fantastic tournament on their part in Germany. They defeated the best pairing of the season in a match for the history books in the semifinals. They also had to suffer against opponents such as adidas player Alex Ruiz and his partner Juan Tello.
The tournament started in the best way for Ale Galan. He and Juan Lebron eased their way through the first two rounds. In the quarter-finals, the going got tougher. Ruiz and Tello forced the champions to play the third set after a second set in which they found themselves on the brink in the tie-break. They got the job done and met up with Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello, the best pairing of the season.
Against them, the semis were complicated after losing in the first set. Coello and Tapia, moreover, were very confident in their game. But Galan and Lebron were courageous and forced the tie-break in the second. They suffered, but ended up winning it 10-8 and went for a decisive third set. In it, they combined phases of dominance with others of suffering, to end up claiming their first victory against Coello and Tapia this season.
With the title in Germany, Galán is going for more. That's two titles in less than a month and the sensations couldn't be better as the end of the year promises to be frenetic.
