Ari Sánchez crowned champion in Milan
Milan brings another title for Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero.
The pair were crowned champions of the Milano Premier Padel P1 after defeating Paula Josemaría and Bea González 7-6, 6-3. The victory marks their fifth title of the season and their third in the last four tournaments.
A final where they never stopped believing
The match did not start their way. Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero found themselves 2-5 down in the opening set, but stayed in the match and turned things around when it mattered most. They levelled the score before taking the set in the tie-break.
With the first set secured, Ari and Andrea kept the momentum and closed out the second 6-3 to lift the trophy in Milan.
Five titles and their sights set on the top
Riyadh, Valencia, Paris, Rotterdam and now Milan. Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero now have five titles in 2026 and head into the final part of the season with a chance to fight for the number one spot.
After their victory in Milan, they sit 1,980 points behind Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea in the FIP ranking. The season continues, and Ari and Andrea remain firmly in the fight.
