Ari Sánchez conquers Valencia after delivering a top-level tournament
Ari Sánchez has lifted another title in Spain. Alongside Andrea Ustero, the adidas player was crowned champion of the Valencia Premier Padel P1, completing a top-level week at La Fonteta.
The final brought together the world No.3 and No.4 pairs in a demanding and closely contested match. Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero defeated Claudia Fernández and Sofía Araújo in three sets (6-4, 3-6, 6-2), in a match decided by small margins and key moments.
After a strong start, the match tightened in the second set, with their opponents raising the level and pushing the battle further. But in the third, when it mattered most, Ari stepped up to make the difference and take control of the match.
A title that confirms the progression
Beyond the result, Valencia leaves more than just a title. The pair had been building momentum, and this tournament confirms it: more consistency, more confidence, and better feelings on court.
And it wasn’t just about the final. Throughout the week, they delivered a very solid run, including a key win against Paula Josemaría and Bea González, one of the strongest pairs on tour, further boosting their confidence.
This result also marks their second title of the year, consolidating their growth as a team and reestablishing them among the circuit’s top references.
Congratulations, Ari.
