adidas player Pol Hernández gives a clinic at UFV of Madrid

Our professional player Pol Hernández gave a technical clinic last Wednesday at the facilities of the Francisco de Vitoria University in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid. The young Catalan, and one of adidas’ most promising futures of the game, led a training and improvement session in padel.

The player wanted to share his experience at this event promoted by the degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFyD) of the University in which more than forty students were able to take part.

In the first part, Pol Hernández showed the different padel strokes and the technical aspects necessary to execute them. It was an intensive training, of short duration but very complete and with the added value of coming from a professional in the world of padel.

Once all the technical resources were shown by the player, the attendees were able to share the court with Pol and participate in some training games in which our adidas player took part. The students rotated through the different positions on the court, in order to live the experience of playing with and against a professional.

The new adidas 2024 collection was also present

At the same time, an additional court was set up where different adidas coaches accompanied the attendees so that they could try out the entire 2024 padel collection. In this way, they were able to get to know the new Cross It range or the surprising new Metalbone and Adipower rackets.

On this complementary court, different tests of different facets of the game were carried out, such as precision, power and skill. Attendees could put into practice everything they had been taught by Pol Hernández during the clinic and, simultaneously, to test the different models of rackets.

The whole session took place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The result was an enjoyable and, at the same time, very profitable training for young people whose future lies in the world of sport and who knows - perhaps even in padel.
