Conquering alicante: Ale Galán vs Álex Ruiz

Conquering alicante: Ale Galán vs Álex Ruiz

Ale Galán and Juan Lebrón unstoppable in the final of the WPT Alicante Open against the team formed by Alex Ruiz and Franco Stupaczuk.

It has been a historic week for the adidas padel team, as two of our players reached the final. If there is something we always highlight in the adidas padel team is the pride we feel to have our TEAM. All of them have proven to be TOP players and we can presume that we have an excellent group of people. Each one of them is a perfect ambassador of the values we represent and they show it everywhere they go.

WPT Alicante Open

This week has not been different, we have been fortunate to live a historic day that will remain in the memory of the entire adidas padel family. Two of our players, face to face, playing a final of a World Padel Tour Open. Ale Galán and Alex Ruiz seeking the title of champion in Alicante. Our heart broken, emotion and pride...overflowing. In one of the most difficult weeks of his life and after the recent news of the loss of his uncle, Ale stepped into the final with more determination than ever. Hungry as if it was his first final and with the complicity of his team that has carried him along all the time.

Meanwhile, Alex Ruiz reached his second consecutive final as a professional player and along with his teammate Franco Stupaczuk, together they are having a very promising start of the season. The start of the number #1 was devastating and they took the first set in a clean sweep without giving any option to Alex and Stupa. The second set was a different story, the equality was the predominant tone and the match gained in intensity. However, the solidity of Ale and Juan would make the difference in the final stretch. Both completed in this way their first title of a season that promises strong emotions. Raising his eyes to the sky and kissing the sleeve of his t-shirt with the name of his uncle inscribed on it, Ale gave us a lesson showing his human quality, making the memory of his uncle, Juan Vera, remain with him until the end. RIP. Thanks Ale and thanks to all the players that are part of the adidas padel team, for making us feel proud everywhere you go.
