In our day by day, it is inevitable to leave a carbon footprint, but we can always do things to reduce it and offset it. The match we all must play is against climate change. We play in favor of the planet. This is how the #GreenPadel spirit was born.
Some time ago, at adidas padel we realized that the most important game of our lives is not played on a court. In fact, we play it outside, in our daily lives. And it is the fight against climate change. With this idea #GreenPadel was born.
A philosophy that reflects the core value of adidas padel, caring for the environment in all its forms. From production to sales.
But what is #GREENPADEL? Is it an ecological product line? Is there something else behind it?
A FOREST TO TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE
Any manufacturing process, no matter how controlled, still produces polluting emissions.
To offset these emissions, we decided to reforest our local woodland to reduce the impact.
We started collaborating with Reforestum in 2018 and planted our first seed in Genesis, a forest located in "Picos de Europa".
Located in Spain, specifically in Calahorra de Boedo (Palencia) and with a total of 2.4 hectares, equivalent to 120 padel courts. A forest with which, between all of us, we will compensate 848 tons of C02.

INNOVATION TO PROTECT THE PLANET
We avoid using polluting materials such as PVC and we are constantly working to research and apply environmentally friendly materials.
For example, Flax Fiber and Dupont Tyvek.
In addition, all our factories are thoroughly audited to ensure that they meet our environmental and social requirements. Our head office is located in a BREAM-certified sustainable building that confirms significant energy savings, thus reducing our carbon footprint.
