Ale Galán stages comeback of the year in Milan
In Milan, Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto have once again shown that they never give up. The adidas player and his partner staged one of the most spectacular comebacks of the season to win the Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1, beating world number ones Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello 2-6, 6-3, 6-0.
A thrilling final, with a packed stadium and more than 35,000 spectators during the week, witnessed a new chapter of greatness. Galán and Chingotto turned around a match that started uphill and transformed it into a true display of courage, energy, and talent.
A change of course with the adidas stamp
The first set belonged to the “golden boys,” Tapia and Coello, who dominated with authority. But from the second set onwards, everything changed.
Fede Chingotto ignited the spark with an impeccable performance, defending every ball and pushing the team forward with his tireless dedication. At his side, Ale Galán rediscovered his most explosive form: fast, aggressive, and lethal in attack. Together, they managed to break their opponents' rhythm and took the second set 6-3.
From that moment on, the match had only one master. In the third set, Galán and Chingotto unleashed an unstoppable storm: a historic 6-0, the first suffered by the Tapia-Coello pair since they started playing together. A display of character and absolute superiority.
Italy, Galán territory
With this victory, Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto have won their sixth title of the season and their second in Italy, a country that seems to hold something special for them.
“We have a special relationship with Italy and winning here is very exciting,” said Galán after lifting the trophy.
The adidas player continues to confirm his status as one of the greats on the circuit and keeps alive the fight for the world number one spot.
Determination, talent, and a winning mentality: the perfect combination of a true champion.
