An Icon of Innovation and Power

The Adipower range has become an icon in the padel world thanks to its constant innovation and the introduction of pioneering technologies. It all began in 2016 with the first Adipower, which included EXOSKELETON technology: 100% carbon ribs integrated into the structure and the heart of the racket to deliver unprecedented power and stiffness. This technology evolved in 2019 with the DUAL EXOSKELETON, adding double carbon reinforcements to further increase power and rigidity with every shot.

In 2023, innovation continued with the Adipower Multiweight, featuring a unique system of interchangeable weights allowing players to adjust balance and feel of the racket according to their playing style.

Adipower also stood out for its commitment to sustainability, launching in 2022 the Adipower Greenpadel, the first adidas racket made with sustainable materials, reinforcing the brand’s mission to reduce environmental impact without sacrificing performance.

Historic Milestones of the Adipower Legend

• 2016 – The birth of a legend:
  The first Adipower range is launched in two formats: Control and Attack. Pioneer players such as Peter Alonso and Javier Concepción take to the court with adidas’ new weapon, and in the same year a young international talent, Álex Ruiz, joins the team, wielding the iconic Adipower CTRL racket for the first time.
• 2017 – Adipower conquers the world:
  The range grows with new models, including the Adipower CTRL Junior. adidas becomes Official Racket of the World Padel Tour with the Adipower Attack. Álex Ruiz and Seba Nerone reach the Open final in Lisbon.
• 2018 – New champions:
  Ale Galán and Seba Nerone join the team. Ale Galán, with the Adipower Soft, wins his first professional tournament in Valladolid and later repeats victory at the Lugo Open. Álex Ruiz’s Adipower CTRL 1.8 is awarded “Best Racket of the Year.”
• 2019 – Queens and masters:
  The collection is renewed with models such as the Adipower Soft 1.9, CTRL 1.9, Attack 1.9, Light 1.9, plus Junior and Girl versions. Marta Ortega, with the Adipower Light 1.9, becomes the youngest woman to reach world number 1 at just 22 years old, winning 7 titles that season. Ale Galán wins 5 titles and ends the year crowned at his first Master Final, earning the title “Master of Masters.”
• 2020 – Strength in difficult times:
  Ale Galán, with the Adipower 2.0 in hand, enjoys a brilliant season despite adversity, winning 6 titles and reaching world number 1 for the first time.
• 2021 – Farewells and coronations:
  Seba Nerone retires after a remarkable career, ending his professional stage with the golden Adipower Attack 3.0. Álex Ruiz, with the Adipower CTRL 3.0, wins his first professional title in Sardinia and later repeats glory at the Mexico Open.
• 2022 – Sustainability and glory:
  A turning point with the launch of the Adipower Greenpadel. Marta Ortega, with the Adipower Light 3.1, is crowned world champion and adds 4 more titles.
• 2023 – Winning innovation:
  The Adipower Multiweight 3.2 is launched, featuring an interchangeable weight system. Álex Ruiz receives the award for Best Hybrid Racket at the PadelSpain World Padel Awards. Marta Ortega wins the first women’s Premier Padel tournament with her Adipower Light 3.2.
• 2024 – The legend continues:
  Álex Ruiz wins the FIP Platinum Mexico with the Adipower Multiweight CTRL PRO-EDT, a limited edition nicknamed “Captain America.”
