The Team rackets: the main novelties of the Metalbone 2023 collection

- Categories : adidas Padel , Train!

The launch of the Metalbone 2023 range is now a reality. With it, 7 new rackets are added to the adidas collection and new names arrive that we have never seen before in the family. This is the case of the Metalbone Team and the Metalbone W Team, two very attractive models.

With these two, we are looking at two very complete rackets, in terms of design, composition and performance. Both share a series of characteristics that we will analyse below. They are models designed for a more attacking game - created to easily make powerful shots.

On the power team

Metalbone Team

Both the Metalbone Team and the Metalbone W Team have numerous features designed to favour powerful shots. First of all, its shape is diamond, a feature shared by most rackets for a more attacking style. The rigidity is guaranteed by the Octagonal Structure technology, an 8-edge carbon tube located in the heart and frame of the racket that reinforces the structure to limit its flexibility and increase its resistance.

The combination of Glass Fibre and EVA Soft Performance rubber ensures a compact feel that, at the same time, provides a very good touch and incredible ball output. For effects, both models have the ridges of the Octagonal Spin Blade. The various small octagons on the surface is a guarantee to give the most devilish effects when in a rally. To this, we must add the layout of the holes that incorporates Smart Holes Curve technology, fully optimised for spin shots.

How the Metalbone Team differs from the Metalbone W Team

Metalbone W Team

The main element that distinguishes the Metalbone Team and Metalbone W Team rackets is the weight. The W Team is a significantly lighter racket, a fact that makes it more comfortable and manageable. This aspect provides greater agility of movement, while the Metalbone Team, being a little heavier, manages to have an extra point in terms of punch.

The second difference is found in the design. Although it has no implication on the behaviour of the racket, you always have to take into account what a racket looks like when purchasing it. The Metalbone Team combines black and a range of dark greys with a deep red. For its part, the Metalbone W Team mixes the same base with a very elegant light blue.

What both rackets have is the ability to dominate the court. Both the Metalbone Team and the Metalbone W Team are synonymous with quality and performance behind the scenes. Two worthy representatives of the Metalbone range.
