WHEN ZIDANE'S CAREER AS A FOOTBALLER CAME TO AN END, HE DIDN'T WALK AWAY FROM SPORT. HE SIMPLY MOVED TO A DIFFERENT COURT.

His connection with sport continued through Z5, the sports project he created to bring together different disciplines and communities around a shared idea: to keep playing.

In 2021, Z5 Aix-en-Provence welcomed padel with the opening of its first courts. And that new chapter began with a very special figure on the other side of the net: Ale Galán.

The world's No. 1 and a football legend sharing the same court.

What was then a new sport for Zidane became another part of his relationship with the game.

Five years later, that court brings them together once again.
